CUT NESTING SOFTWARE
Cut nesting & optimization, built into your stock
One planner for 1-D bar lengths and full 2-D plate and sheet nesting — packed against the stock and offcuts you actually have, with kerf accounted for, so you see the yield before you cut.
A quick look at StowWorks.
Bar and plate in one planner
Most cutting tools do lengths off a bar, or sheets in a separate CAM package. StowWorks does both: 1-D bar nesting and a real 2-D sheet solver that packs parts across whole plates — not just lengths.
- 1-D bar / linear cut nesting
- 2-D plate & sheet nesting
- Kerf-aware — the saw blade is part of the maths
Nested on the stock you actually have
StowWorks lays your parts onto your real inventory — full bars and plates, plus the offcuts already on your shelf — instead of an imaginary infinite stock. It can co-nest across plans and stay cert-aware, so parts that need the same heat stay together.
See the yield before you cut
Every plan shows how much material it uses and how much it wastes, before a blade touches metal. You can try alternatives and pick the one that costs the least material — then send a cut-plan traveler to the saw, certs included.
Keep the drop
When a cut leaves a usable offcut, keep it and it returns to stock as a labelled piece — with its heat and cert intact — ready to be nested into the next job instead of thrown in the skip.

Questions, answered.
Does it do both 1-D and 2-D nesting?
Yes — one planner handles 1-D bar lengths and full 2-D plate/sheet nesting.
Does it account for kerf?
Yes. The saw/blade kerf is built into the nesting maths, so the yield you see is the yield you get.
Can it use my existing offcuts?
Yes. It nests onto your full stock and the offcuts already on your shelf, and keeps usable drops as labelled stock for next time.
Is the nesting cert-aware?
Yes. It can co-nest across plans while keeping parts that need the same heat/cert together.
